3. What is the difference between an "update" and an "upgrade"?

An update is a revision release of the software for which there is no charge, or minor fee charged to receive the update.

 

An upgrade is a completely new package, having much more functionality than the originally purchased version. A fee is usually charged to get an upgrade.

 

To get updates and upgrades for Active@ Partition Recovery, you may log into our Customer Communications Center and click on the UPDATES or UPGRADES links to see your eligible upgrades and upgrade prices. Your login ID and password were provided to you in an email confirmation after purchasing the software.
